Research interests
Research is conducted in the field of general theoretical problems of folklore studies, ethnocultural studies, methodology of cultural studies and folklore studies, history of folklore, intertextual studies, study of the regularities and dynamics of the development of poetics of genres and types of artistic rendition of reality, genesis of artistic thinking in folklore, study of the problems of myth in folklore and literature, folklore-literary relations.
